Percy wasn't sharing any of Mama's homemade chicken noodle soup.
It's a dreary day here today and more snow is on the way,
think I will try to make some homemade chicken soup myself.
How about you, what are you up to today?

p.s. I just wanted to let you know I stopped at Starbucks this morning & the ones by me have a Valentines Kid Art promotion going on... For every drawing your child submits you get a free tall beverage, milk or juice... I thought of you right away ;)
ha. there is some funny irony in this pic...the pic on the wall, the shirt...then the soup...smiles. nice....
ReplyDeleteI am constantly in awe of your prodigious ability to create. Oh the tragic irony you built into this one is hilarious. As always I love your bold and unabashed use of color. Be well my friend, despite the gloom.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I just love Percy Peroo, and the girl hugging the Snowman below is a stunner!!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl, enjoy the snow! (However, I did throw the confetti as the bus pulled away--2 hours late-- it's been a looooong weekend!)
Nursing sick kids and washing my new floor for the first time, hopefully!
ReplyDeleteLove Percy and her chicken soup! Wish I was as motivated as you to make some homemade, but I think Campbell's will have to do today.

ReplyDeleteWe had lots of snow, then it began melting, so we had lots of ice, now it looks like we will get some more snow to add to the layers of ice and snow. But we did see a blue sky ..I think :)
It's all so warm and inviting! Hope you enjoyed the soup! :o)

ReplyDeleteHeather, how cute! and I think I will share in some of that soup. I love soup in the winter. I also have to tell you the sketch of the little girl hugging the snowman reminds me of a little student of mine with Asberger's Syndrome and this is something she would do..such a gentle soul :) thanks for the smiles!
