One of my favorite art challenges is Creative Tuesdays with Mr. Toast over at his blog, Hot Toast and Jam. It's a bi-weekly challenge and we are given a single word prompt. This week's prompt...is bedtime! Around my house, bedtime is a time for me and my girls to snuggle up and read a few of our favorite books together. We are currently reading Charlotte's Web and bedtime wouldn't be complete without a reading of Pinkalicious!
How about you, any favorite bedtime books?
Also, Madeline is getting ready to snuggle up in her little pink slippers and nightgown, just in time for bed.
She's now available, here.
So grab your slippers and cozy pj's and come join us over at Creative Tuesdays...
See you there!

Hi Heather,
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful, I used to love tucking my girlies up in bed and snuggling for a story. Loved Charlotte's Web.. Two of my favourites are Threadbear and Possum Magic...
So adorable. I love the little teddy bear to the left and that bed frame is amazing. Love how you've illustrated it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful tradtion you have with your girls. I was the same way with my 3 children when they were littel. So loved that time. Loved to read, "Goodnight Moon" or something like that. :)

ReplyDeleteSo sweet - we had a book which I must have passed on...with little animals that you would take out one by one and tuck into their respective beds. I found it at a local children's 2nd hand shop.
ReplyDeleteI wished I still had it! sigh.
Now we read our own books :)
