Sunday Sketches- Little Miss Q

It's Sunday, and it's time for Sunday Sketches. I love seeing what all of the Sunday Sketch participants have been working on throughout the week.  Really, seeing what other artists have spent their days creating is so much fun for me!

Currently, I am working on my story for my children's book illustration and writing class.

It's a little "love" story about the letters Q and U.
and, they meet in a bowl of SOUP.

Hot, right? Hee! Hee!

We are "storyboarding" this week. Here's a rough sketch, of Miss Q!

For more Sunday Sketches please do pop over to The Blue Chair Diary, here.
I will see you there....

What a great idea for a children's book! I want you to write one so badly as I just think you are sooo talented! I want a Madeline book :-)
(may have mentioned that before hee)
Your work reminds me so much of the illustrations in the book 'Guess how much I love you" - very soft and just makes me smile every time!

And I adore your new header!!! Really perfect for spring!

Smiles and hugs

Quality work my friend! Quality!!! I love the character and the concept. It is so unique. The top image is so engaging. I am so very proud of you and these big steps you are taking.

Yeah, for the new computer. Boo for it giving you problems though! That's no fun. I hope you get it all resolved. When you have time I would love candid feedback on the shop. I am so ready, fire, aim with the whole thing but knew it was time to bite the bullet. I am torn b/w CP, Zazzle and Etsy. The Big E I am afraid would take more time than I have to manage. Wow! Sorry to be so long winded. Big hugs! Great work and can't wait to see how this develops.
