Paint Party Friday - That's One Cute Chick!

One Cute Chick
8" x 9" inches
Watercolor

It's Friday and it's time to
 break out of your shell,
and head over to
I saw the cutest little photograph of baby animals in my daughter's Scholastic magazine the other day.
I immediately thought I had to paint the baby chick and bring her to life...
She's now available, here, in my Etsy shop

See you at the party!

  4. This is gorgeous - she really is one cute chick!!

Can i ask do you scan your work onto the computer and if so how do you manage to retain the texture of the watercolour paper so clearly - when I scan watercolours you can't see that it is watercolour paper on my blog?

  11. That is one CUTE chick!!!! I have no other words because I'm soaking in all the cuteness. We just got some baby chicks for egg laying and they are growing so fast. This painting reminds me of what they looked like only four weeks ago! So CUTE.
