Sunday Sketches - Every Now and Then & Clue #1


It's Sunday and it's time for Sunday Sketches with Sophia and the gang, over here at
The Blue Chair Diary. Grab a pencil and your sketchbook, and come draw with us!

Well, I am not in Paris with Madeline,
but I am enjoying the view from here where I stand...
hmmm, I wonder, is there a Starbucks around here???
Well, as you can see,
I will be traveling for the next week -
 I am not sure how often I will get to visit you my friends, but I will try!
 I will miss ALL of  you and your daily posts, thoughts, paintings, poems and drawings -

When we got off the plane, here,  it was 80 degrees
...but, it's snowing now...

    I love that Madeline is taking a vacation, she appears to be enjoying herself. Fun idea for a contest. I can't think of anywhere that it can be 80 one day, snowing the next, and trumpets. I will have to put my thinking cap on.

    I know, I know. :) I got your awesome email yesterday. You guys are sooooooooo pretty and I loved seeing you in the shirt. I will post the photos this week. Thank you. Couldn't do it yesterday because my internet was down.

    This illo is adorable and I love see the text along with. It shows how well your images would look in a picture book.

    Love little madeline taking her vacation. I hope you enjoy your trip. Trumpets??? Snow and 80 degrees boy thats a tough one! We will miss you and your wonderful art and insights. :-)

    hmmm... well it does that in Colorado, but trumpets? Thanks for visiting my blog. I have an art club at the school I work at. The oil pastels were done on good old construction paper which is what we usually work on. Have a great trip.

    Madeline looks very relaxed. Is she daydreaming or on vacation?

    My guess is you flew into Las Vegas and are driving up to go skiing or to the Grand Canyon.

    yea you are traveling. Wishing you a lovely time. Your wee mouse is wonderfully cute! I love mushrooms, yep I do. I have found one, last week and that I found amazing as we still have a foot of snow ion most the ground.
