Sunday Sketches - Lily of the Valley


It's Sunday and it's time for Sunday Sketches with Sophia and the gang over at The Blue Chair Diary -

    I am totally with Madeleine. I love lilies of the valley. Ironically I had planted a ton of them at my old house before I remarried (where my daughter lives now) And just the other day I took a few and replanted them at my "now" house. Happy Mother's day and enjoy your day! :-)

    One of my mom's favorites, she used to wear Lily of the Valley perfume when I was growing up. This makes me feel like Madeline!

    Wonderful Heather!!! I must run out and see if any of my Lilies of the Valley are in bloom (hard to tell as I haven't yet cleaned up the garden....) A beautiful sketch! (And green - not pink!)

    Lily of the Vally is one of my favorite flowers and I have such vivid memories of playing in patches of them as a child, imagining an entire fairy world amongst them. Happy Mother's Day! I hope it was blessed and full of love.
