Sunday Sketches - CAT spells CAT

It's time to go back to school for Madeline the Mouse....
Good morning, it's good to be back!

I am looking forward to catching up with my friends over there, I have missed you all!
This is a sketch that I drew, and colored with marker - to share with you today!
 I am currently painting it in watercolors for a favorite teacher!
I hope she likes it!

    C*A*T is a very good word for a mouse to know! I love the way you've colored the chalkboard - it's wonderful! I hope you share the watercolor version too :)

    I think your marker work is my favorite. That is still my favorite medium too. I love everything about the piece. The quiet line work in the back is in nice juxtapose to the fun chalkboard and Madeline's wonderful pose. Glad you are back.
