Crayon Hearts - So fun and easy

 We were busy cleaning The Studio this weekend....and we found a lot of crayons and decided to make one of the crafts I had seen here on Pinterest this week -
 We unwrapped the crayons ....and broke them into small pieces


We  filled this silicone heart tray with the chopped up crayons and turned on the oven to 275 and baked them for 15 minutes - (if you are going to try this - place the silicone mold on a baking sheet.)

and 15 minutes later they were fully melted
We let them cool for about 2 hours and voila!


beautiful heart shaped crayons!

Perfect for gift giving.
Fun and easy to make!

    nice...that is a lot of fun...we do this art project where we put paper in the electric skillet then rub crayons over it letting them melt...the colors really swirl and then you let it cool...its kinda like stain glass windows...

    Those hearts would even be cute each a single color! Love them all wrapped up with a ribbon!

    These are great! My brother (who is an elementary art teacher) makes them, puts a hole in them and give them to the kids to wear around there necks. :-)
