Peek - A- Boo

...It's Friday!

do you ever have one of those books that you
 just love that you want to stay up reading all night?

Well, this little lady sure loves her book -

This is a watercolor piece that I am currently working on....

Can't wait to find out what book she is reading!

    nice...yes right now it is harry potter....my son would stay up all night if i let him....just finished book 2 and onto 3 this weekend...

    give that girl curls and you have painted my daughter... who at almost 16 is still falling asleep with books propped against her face.. amazing she hasn't broken her nose by now and it has been wonderful watching the titles progress from Series of unfortunate events through the dreaded twilights, through to Oscar Wilde and Dorian Grey which is her new favourite... you have captured it so perfectly the moment ... can't wait to find out what it is she is reading...wonderful work!!!

    Oh I have sure had those nights! (And with a flashlight under the covers when I was younger and didn't want my parents to know I was up reading...)

    Love this illustration. It brings back happy memories of staying up half the night reading a new book. My Mom is a devout bookworm, she believed in never turning out the light on a good book.
