Sunday Sketches - Wardrobe Change

Spring is almost here, and I am loving all of the Spring fashion
 popping up in some of my favorite stores -

This week I wanted to create a new outfit for Madeline the Mouse,
I am still working on a line of Paper Dolls for her -

For one of her new outfits, I was inspired by one of my favorite looks from J Crew -
(I just LOVE all of the colored jeans....they are everywhere)





A mouse needs a change every now and then,
 don't you think?
I hope she likes it!
She's off to try it on now....

    Ahhh I love that you were inspired by the looks at J. Crew, especially the polka dot top. Love how excited the mouse looks to be trying it on too.

    I remember when these coloured jeans were in fashion last time around. They followed a phase for white jeans - so, as we were students at the time, we got ourselves a packet of dye! White jeans were a serious mistake for me - I am a dirt magnet!!

    That is a perfect sketch for Spring and coloured jeans are everywhere here for Autumn... but all in mulberry and jewel shades... nice to know brights are heading our way in six months...xx
