Creative Tuesdays - Bottle

Message in a bottle....
It's Tuesday and it's time for Creative Tuesday's.

The theme this week is "Bottle"
I have always wanted to find a secret message in a bottle...
Maybe a long lost love note from across the Atlantic.
 Maybe a pirate's hidden treasure map or a sailor's long lost dreams...Well, I haven't found one yet....
So for now, just a simple
Thinking of You
message from me to you!

How about you?
Have you ever sent a message to someone in a bottle?
Have you ever found one washed up along the shore?

what a sweet message in a bottle! Lovely sentiment, and I've never found a bottle washed up on shore!

There is something very exciting with a message in a bottle. I would love to find one, and yours is just the perfect message. Thinking of you too.

what a sweet image! love the new banner too - I have in the past put messages in bottles and cans and buried them - something like time capsules - but not yet the sea

Hi Heather - how have you been?! Trying to get around to visit everyone after a much-needed blogging break. Love this illo and of course messages/items tucked into bottles. I did save the date announcements a few yrs. ago for a couple getting married at sea....

Anyhow, take care sweetie and I hope you're enjoying *$ Pumpkin Spice latte as much as I am :)

very nice. Love how at closer look it is in the shape of a map, very nicely done. The frayed edges of the map and how when you look even closer the metal, or in older times wooden, bar that the map/scroll was attached to can be seen. Love how it's floating in the expanse of sea as well, thinking of you-almost as if whoever finds it will have been, almost, fated to be the to find it. Strong piece. Thanks

Wonderful interpretation, heather. So intriguing too these bottles with notes in them. Love it.

"Maybe a long lost love note from across the Atlantic"---So, dear Heather, just how many long lost loves from across the ocean DO you have?!! LOL. :)

I sent one out once when I was a kid with the totally unimaginative note of "hello" in it but I thin kit washed back ashore before I left--in a plastic bottle too. Not nearly as romantic.

I woudl love to get one too but no doubt would be sorely disappointed to find it from some old guy on vacation from Iowa who threw it in the sea on vaca in Newark or something. LOL.
