they are really all over the place...for you never know when an idea, just might hit!

It's time for Sunday Sketches!

"Soar"  was inspired by a poster I saw earlier this week made up of 3 simple words....

RISE ABOVE IT

This is the first image that came to mind when I got home and started thinking about those three words.

If we want to achieve happiness and contentment and live well,

We must rise above adversity, anger, jealousy and unhappiness....

and spread our wings, fly and soar

for ...

"the higher we soar, the smaller we appear to those that cannot fly"

so, I am off to do just that....

A Valentine for You

We made some Valentines out of my Conversation Heart watercolor from the other day.

By creating a pattern and placing it on a business card template

 our Valentines are cute, homemade and easy!

Sunday Sketches - Go Big Blue

It's a big day here at my house we are preparing for the big game tonight -

The SUPERBOWL starring the NY Giants -

and my house is full of GIANTS fans!

We are in full game day prep:

Chili is on

Wings are getting prepped

Balloons are up and we are off to make our famous "football" cake!

I have been working on these paper dolls this morning for the kids -

hopefully by kick off time these little "dolls" will be ready for all the kids to play with....

and I am sharing them with the gang over at Sunday Sketches
