Happy Weekend, ALL!

I am so excited to share these Maddy Dress Up magnets with you all - 

My studio assistants ( Summer and Saylor ) had the idea to print Maddy onto Magnets...

and this is what we came up with! 

Coffee, cheese, French Bread, a metro ticket and Maddy's favorite stuffed animal, Miss Kitty!

She is a paper doll magnet...and she has been stuck to our refrigerator all week!

Miss Kitty decide doesn't mind....she is closer to the milk!

Creating ideas - My little assistant working hard in the studio!

PS - Maddy is packing up and getting ready to head to Paris - Oui! - I will also be traveling the next few day and won't be able to visit as much as normal! - Stay close though, I will popping in with a few blog posts here and there and of course, I will be posting on FACEBOOK, so come over and hit LIKE if you want to keep up with us!

In 1912, an incredible gift of 3,000 cherry blossom trees was bestowed on Washington, DC by Tokyo, Japan. Rooted strongly and surviving outside elements, the trees have withstood the test of time – 

This year, In celebration of the Cherry Blossom Centennial, Washington, D.C will paint the town PINK - for the nation's greatest springtime celebration....

The National Cherry Blossom Festival....currently in progress

A living reminder of International Friendship, the celebration will run through April 27, 2012

Spring is almost here, and I am loving all of the Spring fashion
 popping up in some of my favorite stores -

This week I wanted to create a new outfit for Madeline the Mouse,
I am still working on a line of Paper Dolls for her -

For one of her new outfits, I was inspired by one of my favorite looks from J Crew -
(I just LOVE all of the colored jeans....they are everywhere)

A mouse needs a change every now and then,
 don't you think?
I hope she likes it!

Spring is in the air at Rose Hill Design Studio.

Even though the first day of spring isn't for a few weeks, the birds are singing,

 flowers are blooming and love is in the air.....

Bears on the Beach - A Fun Dessert

Teddy Bears on the Beach

we made these tropical desserts last night for my daughter's

Island of the Blue Dolphins party at school

Ingredients:

Vanilla and Chocolate Pudding

Vanilla wafers

Gummy Bears

 Paper Umbrellas

Sprinkles

Gummy Life Savers

Plastic cups

Vanilla wafers for the sand

 and blue sprinkles for the ocean,

gave our gummy bears a fun day at the beach!

A quick ,simple day at the beach!

So fun and easy!
