Sunday Sketches - Distraction and a birthday

Hello there!
 Happy Easter -
I am posting my Sunday Sketches a bit early this week as tomorrow is not only Easter Sunday, 
but it is my BIRTHDAY!
 Yipeee! I will be celebrating all day!

My sketch this week is inspired by a little girl who seems to be quite distracted when it comes to 
studying the correct usage of similes...and the proper measurement of right angles- and multiplication tables...and division equations....
Perspectives and fractions....and everything in between...
Do you know anyone like that?

Well, I certainly do!

I definitely was the girl gazing out the window and getting lost during class...
dreaming of my future...
Well, my future is here...and I am off to enjoy the beginning of another great year!

    ha that kind of distraction happens to the best of us...esp in spring when the end of school is in sight...nice sketch...

    Happy happy birthday and hope it was a great double celebration... I love this illustration and I still gaze out the window and daydream when ever my daughter talks bout maths... which fortunateness is a lot as she is a real maths geek... no clue what she is talking about half the time...xx
