The World is Your Oyster

I am always telling my kids little sayings like this.
They think I am nuts!
I find myself telling my kids the SAME idioms that my parents told me growing up-
The World is Your Oyster
The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side
Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk
You are The Apple of My Eye
A Penny Saved is A Penny Earned

I could go on and on,
I bet you even have a few of your own favorites.

The World is Your Oyster is one of my favorite idioms.
This is the first in a new series I will be working on in the New Year.
So let's remember, just as the oyster is rich in beauty,
so are each and everyone of our lives.
