It's GREAT to be 5!
Here's my sketch for Sunday Sketches,
my daughter was sooo excited about her birthday this past week,
I wanted to capture her spirit in my sketch this week...

oh this is so cute. Happy Birthday to you and your daughter. Is she a redhead. My mother is (was) a redhead. She is more blond now with her mix of white. I love red hair.

Amazing how excited kids get about birthdays! My daughter's is early May and she has been talking about it for what seems like months.

Ahhh, remember what it was like to actually be happy about a birthday! Heather, you've captured your daughter's excitement brilliantly, what joy, the kitty is happy right along with her! I remember your post about her birthday last week, what a wonderful cake you made. Love your earthday post too!
