So, I was walking down by the water's edge, combing through the seashells and the sand I got to thinking....
What exactly are we all searching for????
Lately it seems there has been a lot of unhappy campers out there...no one seems satisfied, everyone is always wanting more...more...more...do any of you know what I mean? Climbing, reaching for things that in the long run don't really matter....life is short...And I mean, all we truly want in life is ....happiness, a safe place to rest at the end of the day, a healthy body to live in, and someone to love ...and love back...right?
So why does it sometimes seem that the things we don't have are more important than the things we DO have.?....
I am taking today to be thankful for the things I DO have...the little things...and enjoying them.....every second of them....I found this little sand dollar and I am passing it to you....hoping you can enjoy the small things and the happy things in life....

You're right, Heather. Now what is it exactly are we looking for? Humans are never satisfied, searching for perfection when the concept itself is barely even real.
So I'm joining you today, and hopefully always, to be thankful for all the imperfections in my life. They can be beautiful, indeed. :))

this is so true, heather! I have to wonder sometimes when I hear my family memembers constantly talking about what they wish they had and complain about what they don't have. I NEVER here them give thanks or appreciate what they do have.
