  6. I have a similar conversation with my son about his ears. "Can I grow potatoes in there Mummy?" he asks...

My Mum was always putting rollers in my hair in a desperate attempt to give it some curl. I used to hate it, they would always get so tangled!!!

This is such a fun piece - really made me smile.

  11. ...little girls never want to brush their hair! So funny how we can all relate... so glad penelope made you smile.

mr. toast, YES, it took me a few hours to draw, I did one in pencil, and her hair wasn't wild enough, as I saw her...but then, I did this one...and it took me about 2-3 hours to color( after I drew all of her "belongings" he he he.

  17. Oh this is adorable! It reminds me of the book series our teacher read us in grade school. The name skips my mind now, but there were all kinds of things like this...one child who refused to bathe and seeds sprouted in the dirt on his arms! LOL! I'm so glad you've joined CT, Heather..your entries are so fun!

  23. Wow I like this work. I'm very glad I found it. You have the flow going with all those details. In fact your next few posts are so well made. It's good how you get the heavy colour in with the mono chrome. It's quite an art to get that balance.
