Sunday Sketches - Black Swan

It's Sunday and it's time for Sunday Sketches, over at The Blue Chair Diary
This week, my sketch is of Madeline the Mouse. She is my little mouse character that loves the ballet.
So, this week's sketch is Madeline's tribute to the film, Black Swan,
starring Golden Globe Best Actress winner Natalie Portman.
Have you seen the movie yet?
Thoughts?
Well, I am off to visit my friends over here, at The Blue Chair Diary, won't you join us for a little Sunday morning sketch?

- xox see you there - Heather

Ah little mousie, you are so sweet and light on your feet!
Haven't seen the film yet. When I was a child, I was ballet mad. Favourite books were by Noel Stratfield - have you read Ballet Shoes?

Aww lovely. How weird that I have been sketching animals in tutu's too!

Not seen the film but heard it's good.

Love your tutu wearing mouse Madeline...and no like everyone else I haven't seen the film. I am a complete scaredy-cat and after seeing the trailers and the yellow contact lenses she wears probably never will either!! :)

Hi Heather, love the mouse, she looks like she means business. Haven't seen the movie yet, not sure when it will hit our small village here in France, but will definitely go and see it and let you know what I think...

Good Morning Heather. I love Madeline, she makes a beautiful ballerina. I have not see the movie yet but would like to, we have seen previews and my DH is not interested. I need to say again that I also really love your banner.

Love this little mouse! I saw the movie last week. Interesting, hard to watch in some parts, much like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. The acting was great!

Happy Sunday, Heather! Wow. And your darker side comes through. Just as impactful as your more colorful pieces, though. I love her sideways glance. I haven't seen the movie yet...probably not until it makes the DVD rounds.

I love this little Black Swan mouse. So mysterious. I didn't see the movie yet. But I will. I have heard mixed reviews. Can't wait to see it.

She is spectacular...so glamorous!
I don't think I'll see the movie. From what my friends have said, it is hard to watch and I can be a senstive viewer at times : )

I love your ballerina!
Yes I saw the movie. Her breathing got inside of me, in an uncomfortable way. I thought that was a very effective tool!

Hey Heather! I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I’ve seen enough previews and scenes to know that this is right on! I love your mouse character.... in make-up and costume... even more! Sorry about all the sudden updates... hope it wasn’t an inconvenience :o) A lot of people have been asking my why my updates were not showing up so I contacted blogger. They said to redo all the info in my settings and save the changes. I guess it worked :o)

That is, hands down, the absolute most dramatic mouse I've ever seen in my life. She looks magnificent!
