This is just gorgeous. I love how you make watercolour look so simple yet so effective. An adorable picture which I'm sure your little girl will love.
this is sweet Heather, treasure these moments! Lovely soft colours.
Absolutely gorgeous. I often feel that our best work is inspired by whom and what we love the most. This is a testament to that theory.
Soooo adorable. The softness of the pink and the lightless of watercolor works perfectly with the theme. ;)
This is so sweet! I think Saylor and her kitty are adorable. And...
So are you! I love your self portrait... Very inspirational with the "Keep Calm and Draw On" and the Walt Disney quote! (You always have such great details!)

Heather, this is just so darling and sweet. The soft pastels add so much to the feeling of comfort. Great job. Happy PPF!
Just adorable Heather as usual. Everytime I look at your work, I am forced to emit an audible..."Awwwwww" :-)
Heather, this is so cute, as you well know! Saylor will treasure it for sure. I so enjoy your illustrations. I have a question for you...what's your opinion on outlining watercolor with black pen and ink? I am struggling with it. Sometimes I think it helps make the colors pop, other times, I think it should be left alone. I like both looks actually. Just wondered what your thoughts are. Happy Friday!
I use the Micron .005 pen too. I haven't used any pen on my barn piece, it's all shading with watercolor. Thanks for the answer. :-)
Really an adorable painting, I love the look of innocents that children have while they are asleep. Gives me a warm, fuzzy, felling.
This reminds me of my daughter and when her kitty was a baby they slept together just like that.Such a sweet illustration! Saylor is a wonderful inspiration & I am sure she will love this for years to come.

Heather: Love this new watercolor "All Tucked In" and your self portrait from the previous post. You've inspired me ... never did a self portrait before .... hmmmm, not sure which way to go with it. Enjoy your little ones while they are still home ... my boys are all grown up ...
What a moment to capture and in the sweetest most beautiful way!
I absolutely adore your characters and style, the dainty details and soft feminine colors...Every one of your pieces is like its own story, the way that you present the characters tells so much and is just delightful!! I am reminded of childhood and playing paper dolls whenever I visit your space. Thanks!! Happy Weekend:)
