Paint Party Friday and Illustration Friday - Soaked

It's Friday.
It's raining.
It's pouring,
little Penny is getting soaked
her pony tails have drooped and her sweater is all wet....
when will the sun come out again?

It's been raining here for just about a week now,
I do hope the sun comes out this weekend!

Come join the fun!
See you there!
Illustration Friday word prompt of the week is
soaked!
So I thought this would be perfect!
She's available here, if you would like to bring her home and keep her dry

Awww! Phooey rain. Go away. I hate the kind of rain where umbrellas just don't help at all. Great painting! Hope the sun shines again soon.

I know exactly how she's feeling. It seems like we've gone months with it raining every day. Oh, wait a minute, we have gone months. I have no idea how it's happened and I don't want to jinx it, but we've had 3 days of sunshine in a row. WOW!!! =^)

I LOVE this, her expression is perfectly miserable....and yet resigned with her umbrella folded and her standing in a puddle- GREAT fun! I'd be happy to send you some of our sun in exchange for some rain- we're parched here in Georgia!
I LOVE this, her expression is perfectly miserable....!

Awww...I LOVE it, Heather. Yes, too much rain. The sun is peeking out today, so I'm going to step out into while it lasts, as they're calling for MORE rain later today. :)

I know just how Penny feels, both from the wonderful way you have of drawing faces, and from the incessant rain we have had all spring! (Today is finally sunny, can't wait to get outside!) I love this piece, you always paint such adorable characters!
