Creative Tuesdays - Morning

MORNINGS
are better with tea!
Here is my entry for Mr. Toast's Creative Tuesdays theme this week
Morning
I was thinking of a happy morning person - enjoying her first cup of tea!
I am a morning person, but I usually prefer a good cup of Starbucks Pike Place - I'll save my tea for the afternoon - with a piece of shortbread, of course!

So, how about you?
Are you a morning tea or morning coffee person?

Love her cheeky becoming smile especially, Heather! Another delightful piece and not what I was expecting from you but love it too. TY. You know, you need to try my hint of lemon homemade shortbread with tea--it will bowl you over. So good but so decadent, let me tell you! TY again for another lovely addition here.

BTw, looking forward to seeing what you do with the next theme. :)

She's lovely!...the whole scene is, actually. No bedhead or sheet marks on her face like I have while sipping my first cup! lol...
And look at those earrings! Too cute!

I like my coffee in the morning, and my tea in the afternoon...

But I'd take it anytime with your adorable gal at the Breakfast Table. What a great start, and she's already dressed with makeup..What a sharp gal!!!!

Love this Heather...

Oh, I am a morning coffee for sure. The bigger, and bolder, the better. As much as I would love to become a morning person I am totally the night owl. I love all the little details in this one: her sweater, the tea set and the glitter on her earrings.

Hmm, I'm more a coffee-all-day sort, but no coffee in the morning is a disaster! love your happy morning girl!

I must say I was surprised to see tea in your first line there, I recall your love of a good star bucks :-) Lovely piece and very pretty colours you have used. Personally I'm a coffee lover, black with no sugar (unless I am near a coffee shop then it's capuccino all the way!)

Oh, she is a happy morning person, love her sweet smile. And the colors are great...especially the blue table cloth. I am not really a morning person, but my Starbuck's Skinny Vanilla Lattee sure does help : )

She is just adorable! I love her teacup earrings. As far as tea in the morning goes, I prefer good, strong coffee in the morning!

Hey, Hey!
Thanks so much for checking in and asking about the conference. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! I will do a detailed blog post about it this weekend. I certainly didn't come away with an agent, but a MG author published by Random House did take my promo card to pass along to her editor because she thought my work would fit in great there. In summary I heard: your work is perfect for Middle Grade/Tween market, I have a great vintage quality to my work, I handle digital fairly well, and the best piece in my portfolio was my blonde character study. Now I am trying to figure out my direction and which oar to tip into the water. Sorry to be so verbose - it was just so kind of you to ask! Made my day.

She is so sweet! I am a 'bit of coffee in my smoothie' morning person. :)

Hello Heather, did I ever tell you how I always smile at your work? Well if not I do, it makes me happy :) I don't know what it is - I am too scared to look too hard unless I kill the momnent.... :) I think there is something in the facial expressions that give us joy . Thank you!
