Sunday Sketches - Waiting for Fall

Good Morning!

It's is officially fall!
Madeline the Mouse is getting ready! 
As I sat and sketched Madeline this morning, the leaves outside my studio window were coming down from the trees like crazy...wahooo! Fall has arrived!

 I am looking forward to visiting everyone over at Sunday Sketches, as soon as I finish raking!

    Madeline and I are in the same frame of mind....Fall hurry. I have my fall skirts and sweaters all ready to put on. Browns, oranges, rust, yellow, avacodo greens....

    Madeline, looks warm and cozy, love that she's dressed in white...so elegant. I wish I could wear white in winter... It's lovely and warm here today.. like summer.... have a great Sunday...

    I love fall so I am ready too. I like that she is not in color, it seems to add something special to the drawing. Its summery here today.

    Madeline looks to be enjoying the season. I like the details you include--like the little heart pocket and the tiny little webs here and there. Makes her world seem more real.

    I love fall but I have to travel to the states to enjoy it. We don't have colored trees or fallen leaves here. My most memorable experience was in NJ and I was mesmerized by the beautiful colors. I am planning to go at the end of October. Hope the colors are still there. Love to you and the sweet Madeline!

    If Madeline was a little black mouse she would be just like my Lil' Buddy!
    I miss seeing Lil' Buddy but he I hope has moved on to be so cute somewhere else (besides my kitchen)
