It has been four long days since Hurricane Irene hit our beautiful Garden State...but fortunately we had minimal damage on our property... only a few trees came down - Our power has been out since Sunday at 9 :15 a.m. and it returned this morning at 1 a.m. - Yes, I jumped for joy...
It's been a long couple of days around here....We made it through with the help of our friends and family. Which I will be forever grateful for -
Thank you for your continued support out in the blog world...I missed all of you and hope that those affected by the storm are safe. I am taking today to get back into the swing of things around here...I look forward to catching up with all of you.

So glad you are safe and powered back up. I can't imagine how stressful this week must have been. I LOVE the mouse. My grandmother always made these for her grand-girls and they were all called Mortimer! Holy cow! I haven't thought about them in years...

NJ really got hit hard!!! That flooding on TV looks horrible. Glad you are ok. That is a LONG time to be without power! Ugh.
