I'll Be Home for Christmas

Original Watercolor
available here, in The Shop

I fell in love with this beautiful blue velvet chair at a shop the other day
AND...I imagined what it might look like in my house...and this is what I came up with.

I am sharing it with my friends over at Paint Party Friday and In The Studio Friday

See you there!

This painting would make a wonderful Christmas card. Such a cozy setting on a cold winter's eve.

Love the color. I've no doubt it would look smashing in your home. I do believe Santa could fit that down the fireplace.

What a warm and inviting picture. We had a fireplace in our home of North...I loved decorating the Mantle.

Yes, that blue chair fits in perfectly.

I was eyeing off a blue velvet chair in the shop the other day but the husband looked a bit too horrified so passed on it... looking at this makes me think I should have gone the other way and convinced him how great it would look.... happy ppf xx

There is nothing like a cozy chair by the fire. Is there a nicer way to spend a winter evening?

I love this sketch.
