Cookies perfect for any artist

Last week I visited my daughter's elementary school to discuss the great artist Claude Monet.
We created our very own caricatures and impressionistic paintings, just as Monet had done.
I love the creative energy and excitement of young artists!
The best part of the lesson?
Sharing these beautiful custom made cookies I had ordered for their class -
4L Will Excel is the class motto....
and I had them custom designed just for the class,
thanks to a wonderful shop over on ETSY called
Aren't they fun?

Do pop over and visit this shop....the cookies were out of this world!
Thanks for making them!

PS- I will be back in the Studio tomorrow and will be back to visiting you all very soon!
- xx

What a clever design for a cookie. I taught art appreciation classes at my granddaughter's school when she was in kindergarten and will always remember how much fun it was doing art projects with 5 and 6year olds. Enjoy your day Heather. Hugs

Looking at those beautiful cookies I think that each is a work of art. I wonder how long each one took to make!

Hi Heather, Happy Spring! Great post - I did the same when my daughter was that age, I loved seeing how interested they were in art/artists and even more hearing them say that's what they wanted to be when they grew up :>

p.s. love those artisan cookies
