Hello!
It's Tuesday and that means it's time for Creative Tuesdays!
The theme this week is Everyday Happiness....
So, of course when I read that my first reaction was
YES, for me....a visit to Starbucks and a Venti Skim Misto -
that's everyday happiness to this lady....
But, then I got to thinking about another type of happiness...and that's LOVE....
My dear friend of 30 years is about to have her first baby....and I thought about her and the
Everyday Happiness that little Liam will bring her when he arrives....any day now...
I remember how much I loved holding my little babies - their softness, their baby smell and their baby cheeks were just like a slice of heaven...
So, I drew up a quick little sketch and am dedicating it to my friend Christine
and her future Everyday Happiness....

Oh my goodness...isn't that true. There's nothing like a newborn on your shoulder. Awww. Congratulations to your friend. :)
Your painting is adorable! So sweet.
Ah, love the name, Liam. Sweet....as indeed are baby's, especially when peaceful! I'm so with you. Loved mine too. Hee--calming pale blue--good choice there, Heather. GREAT addition here with a lovely sentiment too.
And have to chuckle as, yes, I did rather expect to see some actual LATTE art..a la SB! :)
this is so sweet and touching Heather, a lovely happy piece!
what a beautiful drawing! would make a great baby shower gift printed on a bag or something
Oh what a sweet and precious thought for your friend and the new blessing coming soon. Oh my the drawing is to touching too.
You can always have a starbucks, can't always have a baby to celebrate.
Oh, this was a very nice gesture. and you're absolutely right, children, love and family are so dear and should be the ultimate source of everyday happiness. Terrific post. Thanks
