Sunday Sketches - This Little Piggy

This little piggy went to market...
Just sharing a sneak peek at a new series I am working on -
I am really excited as I have always wanted to illustrate the Nursery Rhyme
"This Little Piggy"
Do you remember it?
This little piggy went to market
this little piggy stayed home
this little piggy had roast beef
this little piggy had none...
and
this little piggy?......she ran all the way home
Sharing it with my friends over at
See you there!

your piggie is just so cute, I love the way you humanize the animals but not make them look like people. I am not sure if that makes sense but it is not easy to do! I love your work:)

Did not all of us play "This little piggy" with out children's toes....more giggles, as little piggy would run from toes to tummy!!

This is going to be a hit, I'm sure.

I am going to show my daughter.... for some reason when she was little every time we did this rhyme with her toes she would scream and scream... still to this day i have no idea why... might be time for some teenager torture to remind her...xx

I was looking forward to your submission this week. You're work always has an inherent cuteness to it, so I was sure your's would be super cute, and you didn't disappoint. Nice little writeup as well, I've always liked the nursery rhyme myself. Very cute. Thanks
