Back to the Drawing Board!

Vacation is over and it's time to get back to work!
One of my favorite things about January is cleaning up and clearing out
 - Out with the Old and in with the new!
I am going to spend today and tomorrow reorganizing and regrouping my studio. I love doing that. It's one way that I can come up with new ideas....how about you?

What do you do to re energize your creative mind?

I knit, read, and take long walks. Happy New Year! Can't wait to see what wonderful illustrations you come up with.

I spend January, cleaning, like you, and going thru my unfinished projects. I reorganize, make lists, and try not to buy any more supplies until I have whittled down what I have. That can be daunting, since I am mainly a textile artist and my scraps are getting to be like haystacks!

I'm going to buy some 300 lb watercolor paper..it's expensive, but it is really cool to work on.

I've got all my drawers in my desk, kitchen and bedroom organized. Oh my computer area too. Feels really good!

I've been cleaning and reorganizing and have a very neat work space right now. It's like cleariing away the clutter and cob webs in the part of the brain where creativity lives. Here's to clean spaces and fresh starts and a very productive new year! Hugs
