Sunday Sketches - Patriotic Paper Dolls

It's Sunday, and it's also Memorial Day weekend, and we are feeling quite patriotic here in the studio.
I have been playing around with the idea of paper dolls, thanks to my bloggy friend, Brian!
I love the idea! ..and Madeline the Mouse, sure will look good in all of the outfits I am designing for her!
My kids love the idea, too... they have been coloring their own this morning.

I still need some tweaking here and there, but it's Sunday Sketches,
so I thought I would share what I have so far....
I hope you enjoy these...if you print them onto heavy cardstock, you can have fun coloring,  cuttng and playing around...maybe paste her inside your journal or bring her on a picnic!

Have a great weekend!
See you at Sunday Sketches

What a cute idea. Leave it to you to come up with something like this. Makes me want to do Santa paper dolls, or Mrs. Santa paper dolls. Have a great Memorial Day.

Heather your beautiful painting arrived - I will treasure it! Thank you!!

Madeleine looks very smart in her outfit. I am glad she is so patriotic - despite her love of La France!

Love this...paper dolls must be on a come back... I let my before school care kids play with some of my paper dolls that I had cut out... they loved the idea of making clothes to fit the dolls.... and I thought the kids would think it was a bit old hat... but to them it was something new and sooo cool.....

Heather I love the idea of Madeline as a paper doll. Thanks for the sweet comments on my Eminem sketch, wish I could take credit for the perspective but I am looking at a picture of him my granddaughter picked out for me to do.

Adorable Heather. We must be channeling each other because I am printing a felt (paper doll) pattern) I recently designed this week. Your Madeline doll is just adorable! :-)
