August is one of my favorite months.
I am excited for cooler nights, end of summer picnics, sea shell collecting, running through the tall grass,
and reading a good book on the porch swing...

august is my birth month so i am pretty stoked about it...i also like the turn toward fall as well....wonderful pic...love the red hair with the blue dress...smiles.

This August the main event will be taking a trip to Brookings OR to visit our youngest daughter, Jill and her husband. They live in a wildlife sanctuary...forest in the back yard, ocean across the street, and deer eating apples out their back porch. I'm so excited to see her. We're going to make blackberry jam, as they are in season there.

you summed up August so well. tonight we walked in the tall grass, walked in the woods, watched the full moon rise.... ran from the mosquitoes... a wonderful time. your art is charming as can be.
