4th of July Faves

I love the 4th of July. Parades, picnics, and good old fashioned patricotic fun!

 So this week my Favorites are all about the STARS and STRIPES!

I am in LOVE with this hair pin, The Starlette Sparkler, from Giant Dwarf on Etsy.

I think it's the perfect way to add a touch of whimsy and sparkle to my 4th of July.

These edible gold stars from The Bakers Confections 

are perfect for adding to your 4th of July baking recipes.

I just might add these to my famous chocolate chip cookies, this year!

These patriotic glasses from Wink on Etsy would make a perfect hostess gift,

throw in a jug of fresh homemade iced tea and you are good to go, and welcome back any time!

And we can't forget about the dogs!

Four Spoiled Dogs makes the cutest dog accessories,

 and this has to be my favorite for the 4th that I have seen in a while!

Dream Big

Do you Dream Big? I do!

 I want to be a children's book illustrator, someday! I want to see my designs on baby's blankets and on children's clothes...and as gift wrap at children's birthday parties...Oh I have got TONS of ideas!

There I said it! It's out in the open and out in the world....My dream is BIG...My dream is SUPER big...

It's totally going on my vision board! I am not giving up... because if I wasn't dreaming big....

Summer is Here....

Summer is here at RoseHill Design Studio. We are in full SUMMER swing here at house. School is over and the kids are home. I am excited about the lazy days of summer ahead....but also love our summer adventures!

We've got plans for camp, crafts, cooking and lots of fun day trips before we tuck in to our end of the summer vacation.  How about you? What do you have planned?

Happiness is.....

Do you know that one of the keys to happiness in life... is to live simply and enjoy the little things?
It's amazing, when you really, really do enjoy the little things in life and live a more simpler existence  happiness is easily attained...it's right there in front of you to reach out an enjoy!

I've come to realize that the more I enjoy life's little pleasures, the more happier I become... and I love it!

Perfectly Pink - Must Haves

So it's a rainy day here on the East Coast, and I feel like brightening things up with a few of my favorite things in one of the most happiest colors out there....

1. I am slightly obsessed with Nicole Porter's shop on Etsy amazing housewares. I love the idea of the neon salad bowls. GORGEOUS.

2. Bouquets of Peonies filling the studio today....they smell sooo good

3. Seriously need to snuggle with a pink cat...from BubyNoa on Etsy....how cute is he?

4. Gorgeous necklace from another one of my favorite shops on Etsy, I'll pair this with a white tank and jeans for an easy effortless look.

5. and a new neon wallet from Tory Burch will guarantee my wallet won't get lost in my purse!

I am choosing to sing today.

I would rather sing through life than sulk away the days in silence....

After all, singing is good for the soul...
