I just Love this day...

I wait all year...for the red cup!

And, since it the first day of November,

I can say I am thankful for the simple things in life like

fresh hot coffee in a Starbucks holiday cup!

Ok, I am in LOVE with this sweet autumn cozy,

 that's perfect for my STARBUCKS Venti Skim Mistos.

I discovered Knotwork on ETSY recently, and was thrilled to have my very own pumpkin travel mug cozy  arrive this week...

It's soft and snuggly, just like my favorite sweater...

 and looks great too!

It's a cloudy, cool almost fall morning and I am excited to have my new STARBUCKS coffee mug, and one of my favorite magazines in hand - The Martha Stewart Halloween Issue. It's jammed packed with beautiful spooky images and inspiring ideas for costumes, decorations and devilish treats....Yes, It's a Good Day!

Sunday Sketches - Happy Anniversary

Well, according to our wonderful hostess Sophia, over at The Blue Chair Diary, it has been one year since she began Sunday Sketches. A weekly art co-op dedicated to showcasing a sketch created during the week.

We post our sketch and visit our friends!

Sophia started with two participants and now has over 30 participants on any given Sunday!

Every Sunday she is hostess to this creative blog event. Her dedication has brought all of us together every Sunday, for 52 weeks! It's good to see familiar faces, and new faces every week...it really brightens my day!

My Other Love

Ok, for those of you that know me, you know that my other love in this world (besides my family and friends) is Starbucks. I love the whole Starbucks experience and can often be found there several times a day...okay, i may be a little jittery....

but nothing beats a hot cup of coffee, a friendly face...and a little me time!

So, this morning, when I got my usual Venti Skim Misto, I was delighted to find a NEW limited-time design on my white cup, just in time for Valentine's Day....

The Starbucks Love Cups, are meant to encourage customers to revisit starbucksloveproject.com, and create their own love drawings. And,  for every drawing submitted, Starbucks will donate five cents, up to one million drawings, to the Global Fund. The contributions will build on the achievements through Starbucks partnership with (RED) tm  by using the inspiration of love to make a difference in the world.  

Through projects like these, Starbucks has generated enough money to buy more that 14 million days of medicine for people living with HIV in Africa.
