Tales from the Kindergarten Bus...
Beep, Beep..."Here comes the bus," they yelled
1. They play the radio mommy!
2. The bus driver goes fast
3. We pass my friend's house
4. They yell at each other!
(she refers to all of her new classmates, as THEM)
She actually said this week,
Mommy, one of THEM threw up...like we are sending her to school with the aliens....lol
I never had to take the bus, we always walked to school back in the 70s.
But my daughter just loves taking the bus and always has a story about the day's trip.
So, did you ever take the bus?
This is my entry for Sunday Sketches,

Good Morning Heather, Very cute sketch. You really should be illustrating children's books. You had me scratching my head for a minute as I thought I missed Saturday, your just early.
Thi sis absolutely Brilliant, Heather. You never cease to amaze me. It's not jsut your wimsy style of sketching, but the angles you choose, sense of persepcative, and the pure sweetness of it all. I sooooo love it. Sophia is blessed to have you on SS adn I am blessed to have you on FF!!!

Your mouse on your header is so adorable, I want to pick him up and kiss him! Isn't it great that kids are excited to go to school? My son loves it too. He doesn't go by bus, we don't have one to his school as most kids live fairly close.
I love coming by and seeing your darling sketches!
I never took the bus to school. I had to walk half an our each day to my school. Wasn't very fun in the winter with huge snowdrifts, lol!

Great sketch! I am a child of the 70s too, and rode the bus, and now know, after reading this that some things just never change! :)
oh what a wonderful piece Heather!!! I love it...and I am not ready for our little guy to go on the bus!!! I would end up following the bus driver anyway!!! lol...I love this wonderful sketch!!!
I love how cheerful this sketch is. It makes me want to get on the bus with school mates and experience what ever happens.
Heather! This is divine and so cheery. What warm memories it brings back. My daughter claims my biggest failing as her mother is not allowing her to ride the school bus. I bet it will be so awesome in the great color-ways you conjur up.
