Cheers!
Hello Sunday Sketchers.
My friend, Kary, over at The Farmhouse Kitchen,
one of my favorite blogs, shared her recipe for Pilgrim Cocktails with me...
and I am delighted to share it with you.
It's so simple, and it makes a great cocktail to have when guests arrive on Thanksgiving Day.
So here's a toast, to my Sunday Sketch buddies,
I am so thankful to have met you all this year! This is such a great way to start a Sunday.
Sophia, our creative, thoughtful and always gracious host,
is the author of The Blue Chair Diary, home to Sunday Sketches.
Do pop over and say hello!
You will be thankful, you did!

The cocktail sounds yummy and I love the sketch to go with it. The Turkey is a very lucky fellow to be enjoying the festivities and not being "part" of the offerings.
smiles. the rosy cheeks make ne think they like the cocktails a bit much. smiles. they seem to be having fun though...nice sketch & have a wonderful day!
Love coctails and I'll try to do this one too :) Thank you for sharing with us!!
Your sketch is lovely, looks like they enjoy pilgrim coctail.
I also agree with Marlenes comment :) about turkey and being a part of the offerings..
Happy Sunday
The addition of the rosy cheeks and red cranberries is great. Any champagne cocktail is worth a try!
Very sweet and fun sketch.
Does that turkey realise what day it is??
Another wonderful piece of art that brings a smile to my face.
oh what a fun piece!!!! I love the cute cocktails shared with the turkey....I guess it was his last wish....
just kidding!!!
your work always makes me smile!!!
We will have to try these...they sound deliciuos! I love the turkey toasting his glass ; )
~she's looking a wee bit tipsy!!! i l♥♥♥ve cranberry juice and champagne together...a wonderful holiday treat you have shared here with us...always adorable your drawings are!!! warm wishes and brightest blessings~
Oh yes Happy Thanksgiving next week to you all - we have had ours already! Very cheeky sketch - so whimsical. My kids say, add dried cranberries to your drink for fun and the cranberries will go up and down in the drink (they stop for a moment top and bottom but no worries the flight up and down will continue!)
What a great festive sketch! I'm Canadian so we already had our Thanksgiving but enjoy those cocktails when your washing down your turkey.

So I guess it was a vegetarian dinner or is the turkey just disguised :)
Cute sketch, recipe looks yummy.
she does look tipsy!!!! he he he. it was a quick sketch...
A toast to you my friend. I couldn't agree more. I am so grateful to be on this journey with my virtual 'soul sister.' I love the wishbone necklace and the vegan turkey love. Can't wait to see this with your wonderful color-werks.
Wonderful cocktails! I love their rosy cheeks! I guess that wasn't the first of the cocktails?
the turkey looks rather happy to be joining in cocktail hour, lol!
sweet sketch!
Yum. I could drink one of those right now!
Heather I'm so going to make that cocktail over the holidays! Thanks to you and Kary. Simple is my middle name.
Ha, so cute. I love that turkey.
Mmm, I'm going to try this drink on Thanksgiving!
Oh, how lovely! I like that everything is in black and white, aside from their blushing cheeks and those cranberries. I've always thought that selective use of color works very well.
so cute, they look a wee bit tipsy.

Hi Heather, I am enjoying the expressions on your characters. Fun drawings and thanks for the cocktail recipe; yum!
What a great idea...pilgrim cocktails. With no tolerance for alcohol one such as myself would have very interesting Thanksgiving dinner! Sketch is adorable. :-)
You got to love a little tipsy pilgram. Very cute!
