You've GOT Mail and TEA

I got mail this weekend, from Mr. Toast! YES! I was the winner of a contest over at his blog Hot Toast and Jam. I correctly guessed the location of this year's Christmas Tea...We are going to the Isle of Mull in Scotland. How fabulous, a box just for me. I must admit my family was a tad bit jealous when the box came...addressed to ME! Inside were delightful confections of chocolate and a box of English Tea, a little Elf, and a hand written note from our host, Mr. Toast, himself.

Just look at all of these goodies!

While I had my tea, I sat and picked out a few outfits to bring along with me.

Vogue September 2010
Every girl needs a little plaid when visiting Scotland,
so this Carolina Herrera dress is perfect for my trip overseas.

New York Times Style Travel Magazine Winter 2010
and when I get there, I will need some time to relax after the long journey, maybe grab a cup of tea with the host - AND,   I have heard it can get quite blustery on the northern shores of Scotland, so I think this gorgeous dress and jacket from Roberto Cavalli will keep me nice and toasty while we explore
the lovely Torosay Castle.

Now...as for a date? Hmmm?

what do you think?

So, thanks again Mr. Toast, for this wonderful gift.
You surely are a wonderful host!

Well Heather, that is the most exciting splash of tartan I've ever seen methinks! :) Love your other dress and coat too. you will look smashing. Now, for such a zany skirt I really think you ought ot invite ELf --hw funny woudl that be. I'm sure you coudl have quite the adventure with that escort by your side. But I must wonder, I suspet you;d end up excorting him! Oh dear me--how very funny.

Well, enjoy the truffles, hopefully, even if they are dark. Please be sure to have milk and sugar in your tea and make sure your boil the water fully before pouring it over your tea bad. Ahhh, maybe by the time we "meet" up in Mull you can show me your tea-linary skills? i'm sure i will need a moment to put my feet up with all the going-on's and it will be lovely to chat about whimsical things and such with you! :) ...Of course, do be sure to pick up some shortbread to take home to your family, when there--soon enough.

I am laughing that you have Will Ferrell as one of your date choices. He is so my style, that is why I am laughing. Gotta love a funny man.

My first choice is Vince Vaughn.

What a wonderful gift from Mr. T and T. I won his first CT giveaway and got quite a wonderful package full of goodies too. I think I would go with Will if I were you. Make sure he has on the Elf outfit thought so much more fun. Jude looks so serious and macho in that picture. Love the dresses. My toes will probably get cold. I thought sure it was the castle at Dover but was sure wrong.
