You can just feel the bulkiness of the layers. I also enjoy the little critter behind her. Thanks for the comment, I follow your blog I believe, nice work.
Great expression and pose, she's not pleased that's for certain! XD Also love the colors and her twirled ribbons in her hair~I actually miss those days, one was invincible against the snow! You rolled around and got wet and dirty, but thanks to the layers of clothes you weren't bothered... XD
Oh, I can feel it, so many layers it is hard to move, but this also makes me smile, so cute. Time for me to put layers on and go get some wood for the fire!
adorable piece. She looks so colorful and cute but is obviously not happy.
Lovely illo! I love your colour palette xx
Thanks everyone, she was fun to create! I remember being squeezed into many snowsuits as a child...he he he! have a great day

This so reminds me of the kid in the movie "A Christmas Story" who fell and couldn't get up due to all the layers! funny...and cute! :-)

Hiiii Heather ♪♥♪I couldnt find an email for you so leaving a message here!Love the layers.. not to rub it in.. but it's nice enough in Dallas that I painted outside today in my flip flops!Yes, I'm teaching the Seeds of Spring class and would love love LOVE for you to join! Did I say that I would love for you to join! ♥ heheIf you have any questions, let me know!
YES, I remember that very well...a funny memory; we lived in front of a river and in the winter when it froze we'd always walk down the long lane to skate. My parents had padded me up and stuffed me in multi-layers of clothing, plopped me on the sled to give me a ride. However, I had fallen off the sled and was so tauntly wrapped that I couldn't even scream and let them know I'd fallen off; of course, did they notice it on their own? NO WAY!!! so there I layed on the ice covered gravel until they spotted a bundle; just there...
Cute, love the prupleness of this this! Love their expressions, so funny. I think it's so cute how you always throw in the little kitty or mousey friend:)
How adorable, Heather! I just love the look on her face. Now, my question is, do your girls experience the same thing? (^__^)PS: Thank your for leaving such a kind comment, you are so sweet.
Naw, poor girl. It never gets that cold here so I wouldn't know about it but I love your illo.
oh my! She is so incredibly cute! LOVE that expression on her face. I really enjoy coming to see your interpretations of the IF themes. =)
Yes, I remember : ) But her layers are so pretty. Even her little kitty is bundled up tight.
Lovely take on the topic!
Reminds me of the little brother on A Christmas Story! Very cute illustration.
yes, all those layers in winter time...brrrrrr....
Oh...I remember those layers. I loved to ice skate and just wanted to head to the pond wearing a "cute" skate outfit...not the snow pants and heavy sweaters and coat and scarf and scratchy stocking hat!Super cute illustration!
