She was under the weather....
hee...:)
Tissues, tea and Vitamin D were in order.
It's Sunday! Time for a visit with Sophia and friends over at The Blue Chair Diary and Sunday Sketches.
Grab a cup of tea or coffee and come visit all of the wonderful artists with me, I can't wait.
See you there!
Heather

Nothing worse than a cold when the weather turns nice! Cute!
Ha, so cute. I like it with just part of the illustration colored, looks cool. Once again, lovely drawing.
she does look like she's under the weather, the sketch is great..mks me sad for her, but at the same time, is funny.. :)
she feels just like me! I have a miserable cold too. At least her cheeks are still pink!
nice...i like the progression...and i rather like that she is the only thing in color...
Awww, feel better!
oh no! Are you sick? No fun. No fair. I can't believe you were so dedicated. I would have just snuggled further under the covers. I like the vibrant contrast between sick cheeks and the cloudy feeling. Hope you feel better soon.
PS - thanks for the great words this week on my blog.
Hi Heather! I hope this isn't you!! (Or if it is anyone in your house, that they get better soon!)
Great sketches and love the extra touches that keep showing up!
I liked your Pisces post - especially since I already had fish on mind!
Oh no - I hope this isn't a self-portrait (although she looks beautiful even when she's sick... wish I looked like that! ha!)
If you are under the weather I hope you feel better soon. If not, stay healthy :)

Oh boy she looks miserable! I want to rush over and bring her a care package...maybe some lemon tea and theraflu? :-)
Love the pink nose and her expression is perfect for the theme!
Smiles...How are you my friend? Hope you are doing splendiferously!
Love this...hope it's not a reflection on how you are feeling...
Oh dear... is that a self portrait? Hope not!!
Heather, there is nothing better for a cold than hot cuppas and tissue!! hee =D
Love your little under the weather sketch. Hugs!
Loved your drawing. Thanks for stopping by to look at mine too. I hope you are not the sick girl in the sketch, that wouldn't be too much fun. Now I am off to look at the rest of your blog.
Oh that drawing is darling. So sorry about the bad cold. Maybe tomorrow she will have a smile on her face. Thanks for dropping by.

I hope this doesn't mean that you are under the weather! If so I hope you feel better.
I love that you shared the process. This is so cute!
Very cute, so glad Madeline came to keep her company.
Very good - so expressive too. Lovely!
Wonderful! I love to see the progression and color just on the girl. Very effective.
It's so fun to see the progression of your sketch! Cute expression on her face, and I love the little mouse in the corner! Have a great day! xoxo
Hi there, love this sketch and seeing it in stages too! Love her little red nose and rosey cheeks you manage to capture so much personality in each and every piece!!! Fantastic!
and it is going around - that feb bug! Tea yes! Love the detail!
Great expression and pose! The mouse with the umbrella is super cute. ^.^
Btw, thanks for welcoming me to Sunday Sketches! Hopping around to see everyone's art is so much fun.
I love to see the progression!
Awww, I hope this isn't a replica of you...my husband woke up feeling sick and now has a fever of over 100; poor baby! I tried to keep the crud away from him!
Oh oh! With spring on its way, it's time to get better! Have a healthy week! :o)
Oh her poor little red nose, very sweet Sunday sketch, LOVE it!
She does look oh so like many people around me lately. Fortunately, I have so far managed to fend off the cold bugs.
It really is fun to see the stages of your piece. You have expressed the feeling on not enjoying being sick quite wonderfully! Ugh!
Cute piece Heather.
I like the one on the top! Love the sketchy elements in it and just a little bit of color to the girl.
Aww, it's a great illustration and it's actually funny. Good job! :)
Love those flying tissues! So much fun. And the red nose-- ouch!
