Inspiration Avenue - Self Portrait

The prompt this week over at Inspiration Avenue is Self Portrait.
Here is my version of my self portrait.
If I am home and in my studio,
I usually have on my pink fleece from Lilly Pulitzer, which I bought in Maine, 8 years ago
...it's my favorite sweatshirt in the whole wide world!
I would wear it everywhere if I could!
It's bright pink!
My kids are usually glued by my side, and I always have my Starbucks cup with me!
So,  that's me!
Ok, maybe I left out a few wrinkles here and there....

Have a great day, my friends!

Lord have mercy! Where do you find the time to participate in all of these art co-ops and produce such pitch perfect pieces from day to day. This is a super neat one - I love the wood grain detail on the work surface and that your girls are with you. My dog is always sleeping on the rug behind me. Every once in a while he will get up and stick his head in my lap. I love the mantra behind you too! We are nothing but our dreams.

What a lovely self portrait! Thanks for the comment on my IF. It sounds like your daughter's teacher created a impactful memory for the kids. If you give me her name & School Name, city/state, I'll start a "Teachers That Go Above and Beyond" column on my blog and explain what she did. I'm sure there are other teachers doing wonderful art related things for public school kids, too.

This is so very sweet! I could totally see it in a children's book, and it's so nice that it's an image of you and your little ones. Great work :-D

It's obligatory to leave out wrinkles in a self portrait - that's the whole point of doing it yourself!! Grey hairs can stay behind too!

I have a pink sweatshirt I love too. I think it's at least 10 years old. It's a Fat Face one - do you have that brand over your way? Sort of surfer chick look. Mine is dusky pink.
