Taking the Good with the Bad

For those that need this today, I hope you can see this - there is always a tomorrow. In life, there is always a bad day, even those that seem to have everything, suffer from a bad day. You are not alone in this life. A bad day does not equal a bad life - everyone gets down, everyone suffers at some point or other. That's life.  What you must know is that there is ALWAYS a tomorrow. So get started and live today in this beautiful life!

It's time for Sunday Sketches!

"Soar"  was inspired by a poster I saw earlier this week made up of 3 simple words....

RISE ABOVE IT

This is the first image that came to mind when I got home and started thinking about those three words.

If we want to achieve happiness and contentment and live well,

We must rise above adversity, anger, jealousy and unhappiness....

and spread our wings, fly and soar

for ...

"the higher we soar, the smaller we appear to those that cannot fly"

so, I am off to do just that....

Sometimes, when we just take a moment to stop and think about all of the beautiful things we have in life

....in the now...

in this moment...

we can find peace and contentment in that

 and just be!

and it's an amazing feeling!

I am trying to do more and more of that!

Sunday Sketches - Let's Work Together

We have been busy around my house working on decorating the Christmas tree, writing our Christmas cards and preparing cookies for holiday parties and cookie exchanges...it's a lot of fun, but it's more fun having my 2 girls along side of me to help! Thanks girls!
