I am almost done with my orders that I need to finish before  4 p.m. - but had to squeeze in this little doodle - yes, even Madeline the Mouse loves her morning STARBUCKS! Sometimes, changing from watercolor brush to markers helps rev up the creative energy!

Sunday Sketches - Winter Wishes

Good Morning,

It's the Sunday before Thanksgiving and it's quite busy around The Studio.

My girls and I are watching The Grinch this morning - getting into the holiday spirit a little early!

I have been busy this week trying to finish up custom holiday orders for clients. 

Yes, I do a lot of custom work for people and this is a very busy time of year around here!

It's that time of year again....when I start thinking about my Holiday card. Here's a sneak peek of a sketch I have been working on - I have a few more ideas, but I am liking the way this one is coming together. 

It includes just about all of my favorite things...the kids, my dog  and Santa....

OH!, and candy canes!

Good Morning

I draw faces...faces...and more faces!

Yes, I love thinking of moods, people or characters

that I see throughout the week and just creating a quick sketch of their face...

We've made cookies and chili and we are settling in for the storm -
